Bruno Mars is hours away from unveiling his long-awaited fourth solo studio album. The Romantic arrives February 27 via Atlantic Records, marking Mars’ first solo release in a decade. It follows 2016’s 24K Magic and the Grammy-winning collaborative project An Evening with Silk Sonic alongside Anderson .Paak. Work on the album stretches back to early 2023. Longtime collaborators Brody Brown and Philip Lawrence were involved from the outset, alongside songwriter James Fauntleroy. On January 5, 2026, Mars confirmed via social media that the album was finished. Two days later, he revealed the title, cover art, and a new single announcement. Record Store Day and Listening Events
In late January, Mars was named the 2026 Record Store Day ambassador. Promotion extends well beyond release week. The Romantic Tour, a 71-date stadium run, launches April 10 in Las Vegas and concludes October 14 in Vancouver. The North American and European trek marks Mars’ fifth headlining tour and his most expansive solo outing to date.
