A$AP Rocky appears to be turning the page toward the next chapter of Don’t Be Dumb. The rapper has released new merchandise tied specifically to “DISC 2,” with a new shirt now available for pre-order, giving fans another signal that the long-teased expansion could finally be moving closer to release.

The “DISC 2” shirt is currently being offered through Rocky’s website, adding a physical component to a rollout that has largely unfolded through snippets, performances and cryptic updates. A$AP Rocky has been teasing a follow-up to Don’t Be Dumb almost since the album arrived. Released January 16, the rapper’s fourth studio album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 123,000 equivalent album units, giving him his first chart-topper in more than a decade and ending the nearly eight-year wait that followed 2018’s TESTING.

The original album arrived as an expansive 15-track-plus-skit project featuring Brent Faiyaz, Doechii, Westside Gunn, Gorillaz, Sauce Walka, BossMan Dlow and Jessica Pratt. Tim Burton designed the cover, while Danny Elfman contributed to the project’s sound, which moved between trap, cloud rap, psychedelic textures and punk influences.

Attention quickly shifted toward what Rocky had planned next. Additional songs began appearing on streaming versions of the album, including “SWAT TEAM,” “FISH N STEAK (WHAT IT IS)” with Tyler, the Creator and Jozzy, “FLACKITO JODYE” featuring Tokischa and the Clams Casino/Imogen Heap mashup “I Smoked Away My Brain.”

Rocky has previously characterized Disc 2 as more conventional trap and pop-rap compared with the first album, with production reportedly involving Metro Boomin and Mike WiLL Made-It. A larger collection of collaborators has also been associated with the project, although some rumored contributions, including potential work with Rihanna, have not been officially confirmed.

The latest developments arrived September 30 as Rocky’s 42-date Don’t Be Dumb World Tour reached its final show at Paris’ Accor Arena. Before the sold-out concert, he staged a surprise AWGE Spring/Summer 2027 fashion presentation at the same venue, where previously unheard music was previewed during the runway event.

That combination of unreleased music and new Disc 2 merchandise has naturally intensified fan speculation. Rocky and AWGE have yet to announce an official street date, but the timing suggests the campaign may be entering a more deliberate phase after the previously anticipated May release window passed without the project arriving.
