A$AP Rocky may have revealed the release date for Don’t Be Dumb: Disc 2 in the music video for his new single, “Shroom Clouds.” A police car prominently displaying “30 OCT 2026” has caught fans’ attention, with many interpreting the date as a hint that the rapper’s long-teased deluxe project could arrive on October 30.

Released on October 16, “Shroom Clouds” features Reggie and Jeremih and serves as the lead single for the second installment of Rocky’s fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb. Neither Rocky nor his team has officially confirmed the date, leaving the detail in the video as the latest clue in a rollout that has relied on cryptic messages, merchandise and unreleased music.

Speculation surrounding Disc 2 has been building for months. On September 30, Rocky released new merchandise tied specifically to the project, including a “DISC 2” T-shirt available for preorder through his official website. The move followed the end of his 42-date Don’t Be Dumb World Tour, which concluded with a sold-out performance at Paris’ Accor Arena, where the rapper also staged a surprise AWGE Spring/Summer 2027 fashion presentation featuring previously unheard music.

The potential October 30 date would mark another significant step for an album expansion that fans have been anticipating since the original record arrived. Released on January 16, 2026, Don’t Be Dumb debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 123,000 equivalent album units, becoming Rocky’s first chart-topping album in more than a decade and ending the nearly eight-year gap since 2018’s TESTING.

The original 15-track project blended trap, cloud rap, psychedelic textures and punk influences, with appearances from Brent Faiyaz, Doechii, Westside Gunn, Gorillaz, Sauce Walka, BossMan Dlow and Jessica Pratt. Tim Burton designed the album cover, while Danny Elfman contributed to its sound, helping shape one of Rocky’s most ambitious releases to date.

Since the album’s arrival, additional tracks have appeared on streaming versions, including “SWAT TEAM,” “FISH N STEAK (WHAT IT IS)” featuring Tyler, the Creator and Jozzy, “FLACKITO JODYE” with Tokischa, and “I Smoked Away My Brain,” which combines elements associated with Clams Casino and Imogen Heap. Rocky has described Disc 2 as leaning further into conventional trap and pop-rap, with Metro Boomin and Mike WiLL Made-It reportedly among the producers involved.
