Drake appears to be moving forward with the long-awaited streaming release of several FOMO tracks, with “Solar Eclipse (Choosin Texas Remix),” “Quebec,” “Cold Shoulder” and “Classic Pt. 2” expected to arrive tonight. There has been no fresh official announcement from Drake confirming the exact release time, but regional Spotify listings have already surfaced in markets including New Zealand, giving fans an early look at the rollout.

The apparent release follows Drake’s announcement earlier this week that enough of the songs featured in FOMO would finally make their way to streaming services. During a livestream, he told fans that “not all of them, but enough of them” would be coming Thursday, responding to the growing demand for music that had previously been available primarily through the film and its YouTube upload.

Among the expected tracks, “Solar Eclipse (Choosin Texas Remix)” has already generated particular attention because of its connection to Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas.” The Drake track features a slowed, atmospheric take on the country song’s sound, bringing together Drake’s increasingly genre-fluid approach with Don Toliver’s hazy vocal presence.

Toliver also appears on “Cold Shoulder,” another FOMO track expected to receive its official streaming release. Yebba is additionally credited on the song, giving the project another notable vocal collaboration and adding to the range of artists connected to the FOMO material.

“Quebec” and “Classic Pt. 2” round out the four songs currently appearing in regional streaming listings.

FOMO first premiered on September 15 as an approximately hour-long visual project that combined new music with surreal footage, documentary-style moments and appearances from Winnie Harlow, Sandi Graham and Pinkchyu. Rather than introducing the songs through conventional singles, Drake initially kept much of the soundtrack tied to the visual experience, forcing fans to return to the film on YouTube to hear tracks that quickly became subjects of online discussion.

The project had been building quietly for weeks before its premiere. Drake initially teased FOMO in August with an image resembling a CD jewel case, followed by family photos marked “FOMO 2026” and footage of the rapper speeding across the water in a lime-green boat. When the film arrived, he described the concept as “self funded surrealism,” centering the project on making the most of a particular summer rather than letting opportunities pass.

The music also reflects several directions Drake has explored during this period. His collaboration with Don Toliver incorporates country influences, while “Miss My Dawg” with Yeat later appeared on Yeat’s surprise COCOON EP on September 17. Another FOMO song drew attention for its dancehall influence and a reference to Gaza, further demonstrating how wide-ranging the project’s musical palette became.
