When does Drake’s FOMO livestream start?
The FEAR OF MISSING OUT premiere begins at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on September 15, 2026. For viewers in the UK, the event starts at 3 a.m. BST on September 16, while fans in Central Europe can tune in at 4 a.m. CEST.
Drake has announced the premiere across YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music, giving fans several ways to watch the project. The official YouTube livestream has already been set up, so viewers can head to Drake’s official channel and search for “Drake FOMO” before the start time.
What is FEAR OF MISSING OUT?
Drake has deliberately avoided calling FOMO an album, EP or traditional music release. Instead, he has described it as a “not so short film” built around “self funded surrealism” and a story about making the most of one summer.
His latest Instagram message provided more insight into the concept. Drake encouraged fans to make decisions rather than wait for opportunities, writing about taking trips, releasing songs, opening businesses, spending time with family and deciding who they trust.
The project also carries a creative message about rap and visual storytelling. Drake pushed back against claims that “videos don’t matter” and said he still cares about the format as much as he did while making the video for “Best I Ever Had.”
What will happen during the livestream?
The exact runtime and contents have not been revealed. Drake’s previous ICEMAN livestreams ranged from roughly 40 minutes to more than an hour, although there is currently no confirmed length for FOMO.
A 24-second teaser showed a neon-green speedboat racing across the water before revealing the FEAR OF MISSING OUT title. Earlier footage captured Drake on what appeared to be the same boat during a nighttime production, suggesting the visual is connected to the finished project.
The biggest question is the music. Drake has not confirmed whether the score will contain one new song, multiple unreleased tracks or material that could eventually become part of another project.
How did the FOMO rollout begin?
The campaign dates back to August 21, when Drake posted an image of a CD jewel case carrying the FEAR OF MISSING OUT title alongside a camera emoji. On September 3, he confirmed that something bearing the title would premiere on September 15, but stopped short of explaining exactly what it was.
That ambiguity fueled speculation about another album, a new chapter following his ICEMAN era.
What comes next for Drake?
FOMO arrives months after one of Drake’s biggest rollouts. ICEMAN, Habibti and Maid of Honour all debuted inside the top three of the Billboard 200, with ICEMAN opening at No. 1 with 463,000 equivalent album units and eventually surpassing 2 billion Spotify streams.
Now, Drake is using a film rather than a conventional album announcement to continue that momentum. Whether FEAR OF MISSING OUT ultimately stands alone or becomes another piece of a larger musical rollout could become clear once the livestream begins.
