J. Cole is expanding The Fall-Off Tour just hours after presale tickets went live. The North Carolina rapper has added eight new North American dates following overwhelming demand that saw virtual queues surge into the hundreds of thousands.
Presale opened today, Feb. 17, and fans quickly reported being placed behind more than 200,000 people in online waiting rooms. Others shared screenshots showing queues of 130,000 or more. The scale of the demand prompted promoters to move swiftly, confirming additional shows in key markets.
The newly added dates are as follows:
• July 18 — Atlanta, GA
• July 21 — Philadelphia, PA
• July 28 — Toronto, ON
• Aug. 1 — Brooklyn, NY
• Aug. 8 — Boston, MA
• Aug. 12 — Chicago, IL
• Sept. 17 — Houston, TX
• Sept. 20 — Dallas, TX
The expansion underscores the commercial momentum behind The Fall-Off, which recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album opened with 280,000 equivalent units in the United States, marking the largest week for a hip-hop or R&B release in nearly a year. It became Cole’s seventh chart-topping project.
Streaming figures tell a similar story. The album generated more than 35 million Spotify streams in its first full day, with multiple tracks landing on the platform’s global chart.
Originally announced last week, The Fall-Off Tour launches July 11 in Charlotte, NC. The global run spans North America, Europe, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The North American leg already included major stops in Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, and multiple New York boroughs, before wrapping Sept. 23 in Fayetteville, NC — a symbolic homecoming for the Fayetteville native.
