Ken Carson has officially confirmed the details fans have been waiting for. After teasing a new chapter earlier this month, the Atlanta rapper revealed that his next studio album, XPERIMENT, will arrive on July 3, with pre-orders now available through his official store.

The announcement provides the clearest look yet at the project that will follow More Chaos, the chart-topping album that cemented Carson as one of rap’s most commercially successful voices of the current generation. Alongside the release date, Carson confirmed that XPERIMENT will contain 22 tracks, though he has yet to unveil the full tracklist or any guest features.

News of the album comes less than a week after Carson first introduced the era on June 14 with a cryptic teaser video. The visual immediately generated discussion online thanks to its unsettling laboratory setting and heavy emphasis on transformation. Across the 56-second clip, a patient undergoes a series of procedures while doctors repeatedly mark an “X” on the subject’s body.

The imagery represents a noticeable evolution from the chaotic, rage-fueled aesthetic that defined More Chaos. Released on April 11, 2025, through Opium and Interscope Records, that project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 59,500 equivalent album units in its opening week. Powered by production from F1lthy, Lil 88, Star Boy, and Outtatown, the album expanded the sonic blueprint Carson established on A Great Chaos while pushing his commercial profile to new heights.
