Ken Carson is officially entering a new era. On June 14, the Atlanta rapper announced his next studio album, XPERIMENT, unveiling a cryptic teaser that immediately sparked speculation across social media ahead of the project’s planned July 2026 release.

The announcement arrives just over a year after More Chaos debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving Carson his first chart-topping album. While no tracklist, release date, or additional details have been revealed, the visual teaser offers the first glimpse into the project’s dark aesthetic direction.

Clocking in at 56 seconds, the video unfolds inside a sterile white laboratory where medical staff perform a series of unsettling procedures on a pale, shaved patient. Throughout the clip, doctors mark an “X” onto the subject’s body, administer injections, monitor vital signs, and conduct examinations under harsh fluorescent lighting. The imagery directly reflects the album’s title, framing XPERIMENT as a concept built around transformation, experimentation, and reconstruction.

The announcement follows the commercial success of More Chaos, released on April 11, 2025 through Opium and Interscope Records. The project expanded upon the sonic blueprint established on A Great Chaos, blending distorted rage production with trap influences and high-energy performances. Powered by production from F1lthy, Lil 88, Star Boy, and Outtatown, the album earned 59,500 equivalent album units in its first week and debuted atop the Billboard 200.
