Megan Thee Stallion turned Hottieween 2026 into a full-scale theatrical spectacle, unveiling a custom Cirque du Soleil costume that transformed live during her entrance at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas. The elaborate creation took more than 700 hours to complete and brought this year’s circus-inspired theme to life.
Held Friday, October 30, at Resorts World Las Vegas, the annual Halloween celebration embraced the theme “Thee Circus Is Coming,” with Megan stepping into the role of ringleader. Her arrival was the night’s centerpiece: a four-minute performance featuring four Cirque du Soleil artists, whose combination of breaking, capoeira, gliding, contortion and diabolo set the stage for her entrance.

Megan was initially rolled onto the stage wearing a towering costume dominated by a giant origami pumpkin skirt. Following the performance, she gave the crowd the cue for the transformation, prompting the performers to pull apart the pumpkin and reveal a second look designed for the remainder of the party. The costume changed through three stages, making the outfit an integral part of the performance rather than simply a Halloween ensemble.

Choreographed by Tiffany Baker, the production featured artists from three Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas shows. B-boy and capoeira performer Fabiano “Neguin” Carvalho Lopes represented KÀ, while glider Amaleke Shakur “Kidd The Monster” Bradley and diabolo artist Chih-Han Chao came from Michael Jackson ONE. Mongolian contortionist Oldokh “Oggy” Ganbold, from O, completed the quartet.
The costume was developed by Cirque du Soleil’s creative team under Creative Director Gabriel Dubé-Dupuis, alongside costume designer Miodrag “Mio” Guberinic. A team of 23 artists, artisans and specialized fabricators spent more than 700 hours bringing the design to life. Its construction included over 50 yards of fabric, an accordion sleeve made from 120 individually patterned pieces and a pumpkin skirt featuring 12 panels, each nearly six feet tall. More than 400 square feet of custom-printed, hand-painted material went into the skirt, while 50-plus magnets allowed it to separate into four sections. Thirteen 3D-modeled and printed jester embellishments completed the look.
“Hottieween is Megan’s world, and she has made Halloween a signature part of her creative identity,” Dubé-Dupuis said, describing the collaboration as an opportunity to create an entire performance around the costume. Megan also praised the preparation and attention to detail behind the project, calling it the perfect way to set the tone for another Hottieween celebration.
Beyond the Cirque du Soleil collaboration, this year’s festivities included South African Amapiano DJ and producer Uncle Waffles as a special guest. Megan’s Chicas Divertidas tequila was also part of the event, while a portion of the proceeds benefited the Pete & Thomas Foundation, the nonprofit she established in honor of her late parents.
Since launching in 2019 with the YouTube horror-comedy series Megan Thee Stallion P.I. in Hottieween, the celebration has evolved into an annual event spanning Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Las Vegas.
