Questions are circulating online after the release of the official video for “If You Want It,” the latest visual from Sexyy Red. Shortly after the clip premiered on March 6, fans began debating whether artificial intelligence was used in one of the video’s most talked-about sequences.

Directed by Sexyy Red herself alongside creative collective Hidji World, the video leans into the artist’s trademark raw energy. Dance sequences, club aesthetics, and rapid visual cuts dominate the production. Yet a brief moment during a dance break quickly became the center of online speculation.

In the scene, viewers noticed what appears to be a visual glitch while the rapper is twerking. For a split second, Sexyy Red’s face seems to shift unnaturally while her body turns in the opposite direction, creating a distorted frame that many viewers believe resembles AI-generated imagery.

The moment has sparked lively conversation in the video’s comment section and across social media platforms. Some fans are convinced that generative AI played a role in the production. One YouTube commenter wrote, “The AI with her head twisted and a** out was krazzzzyyyy.

On X, the discussion has been even more divided. Some viewers criticized the possibility of AI use in a performance clip. “This is pure laziness. You need AI to twerk for you?” one post read. Others suggested the moment may have been intentional or part of the creative direction. “I feel like this was purposely done but idk,” another user wrote. Sexyy Red has not confirmed whether artificial intelligence tools were used in the editing, but she addressed the speculation with her signature lightness. She reposted that part of the video, captioning it, “When he tell you do ah trick he Neva see before.” She also shared a mock graduation photo of herself, wearing a sash that declared her a “Certified A.I. Technician.

“If You Want It” was produced by Vladimir “Sunny” Laurent, Egonbeup, and Kyuro. The track originally arrived on December 26, 2025, closing out a busy year for the St. Louis rapper. Throughout 2025, Sexyy Red maintained a steady presence in hip-hop, releasing singles such as “Is You Coo” and “For No Reason,” while also appearing on collaborations including “Guilt Trippin” with Central Cee and “Baller” with Summer Walker.

She also contributed to the soundtrack for F1 The Movie with the track “OMG!”
