The release of BULLY, the long-awaited twelfth studio album from Ye (aka Kanye West), has been pushed back once again. The project, originally expected earlier in the year, is now scheduled to arrive on March 27, marking the latest change in a rollout that has already seen several revisions.
For much of early 2026, many indicated that BULLY would arrive on March 20. However, the release calendars have been updated the album’s expected launch to March 27. The adjustment represents a one-week delay, though it continues a pattern that has characterized the album’s journey toward release.
The timeline surrounding BULLY has shifted repeatedly since the start of the year. Early expectations pointed to a January 30 launch date, which ultimately passed without the album appearing. In late January, a revised target of March 20 was widely circulated following confirmation of a new distribution arrangement.
The album’s rollout is closely connected to Ye’s recent partnership with Gamma, a distribution company founded by former Apple Music executive Larry Jackson. The deal was finalized earlier this year and is widely viewed as part of the artist’s effort to stabilize his professional return to the music industry after a period of intense controversy.
The partnership followed a public apology published in The Wall Street Journal, where Ye addressed past antisemitic remarks that drew widespread backlash.
Musically, BULLY is said to mark a different creative direction compared with the artist’s recent collaborative releases. According to early descriptions, the project leans toward a warmer and more reflective tone. Much of the material was reportedly recorded in Tokyo, with themes exploring personal accountability, remorse, and the consequences of public controversy.
Another notable development involves the album’s vocal production. Following criticism from fans over the use of artificial intelligence vocals in leaked recordings during 2025, Ye is said to have reworked portions of the project.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding previous release dates, signs suggest the March timeline may be more concrete than earlier attempts. Physical pre-orders for BULLY—including vinyl, CD, and cassette formats—have already appeared through Ye’s Yeezy website.
