Spotify Wrapped 2025 has not yet arrived, but its release appears imminent. As of November 27, Spotify has not confirmed an official launch date. However, the company’s long-standing pattern suggests that Wrapped will drop in late November or the first days of December. In previous years, Wrapped launched on November 30 in both 2023 and 2022, December 1 in 2021 and 2020, and December 4 in 2024. With the platform’s Wrapped landing page already active and the app prompting users to update for the “best experience,” all signs indicate that the 2025 edition could arrive within days.
Each year, Spotify Wrapped delivers a highly anticipated recap of users’ listening habits, turning data into a colorful, personalized story designed for social media. Wrapped compiles data from January 1 through mid-to-late November, meaning most listening activity from the past eleven months will be included in the results.
Spotify Wrapped typically includes a consistent set of features, and most are expected to return in 2025. Fans can look forward to their Top 5 Artists, Top 5 Songs, and Top Genres, along with total minutes listened throughout the year. Podcast listeners will also receive rankings for their most-played shows and episodes. The platform’s Audio Aura — introduced in 2024 — offers a visualization based on the emotional qualities of a user’s top genres.
Spotify will also highlight the year’s global streaming data, including the top artists, albums, and songs. In 2024, Taylor Swift was crowned the most-streamed artist worldwide, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” topped the songs chart, and The Tortured Poets Department secured the most-streamed album.
