Outside Lands 2026 officially begins today (Aug. 7), bringing another packed day of live music to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Headlined by Charli xcx, the festival’s opening day features a genre-spanning lineup that includes Labrinth, GloRilla, Tinashe, Clipse, Turnstile, Wet Leg and dozens more performing across four major stages.
Fans can expect music from noon until 10 p.m., with performances spread across Lands End, Twin Peaks, Sutro and Panhandle. Here’s the complete Friday schedule.
Among Friday’s biggest attractions is Charli xcx, who arrives in San Francisco following one of the defining album releases of the summer. Her eighth studio album, Music, Fashion, Film, debuted at No. 1 in the United Kingdom after its July 24 release, marking a creative shift away from the neon-drenched Brat era toward a monochromatic aesthetic centered on artistic identity and fame. Singles including “Rock Music,” “SS26,” “Wink Wink” and “Camera” have fueled the new chapter ahead of her North American arena tour, which begins September 11 in Philadelphia.
Outside Lands celebrates its 18th edition from Aug. 7-9 with more than 90 artists performing across six stages. Saturday’s lineup features The Strokes, The xx, Djo, Lucy Dacus and PinkPantheress, while Sunday closes with RÜFÜS DU SOL, Baby Keem, Empire of the Sun and Death Cab for Cutie performing Plans in full.
