BABYMONSTER are teasing their comeback. YG Entertainment’s official BABYMONSTER account revealed a dark, atmospheric teaser on October 5, announcing that something new is coming October 23 at 1 p.m. KST, but the group has yet to reveal whether the project is a single, album or another form of content.

The teaser offers little beyond the message “COMING SOON.” Its visuals show a glowing circular shape suspended above reflective water, creating a mysterious mood that has already sent fans into speculation about what BABYMONSTER have planned for their next era.

The timing puts the announcement less than six months after the group’s latest project, Choom. Released May 4 through YG Entertainment, the four-track EP marked BABYMONSTER’s third extended play and was led by the title track of the same name.

Choom arrived following an extensive promotional campaign that began with YG’s 2026 roadmap announcement in March. Individual concept photos followed in April before the group revealed the tracklist and previews of the title song, building anticipation for the EP’s release.

Commercially, Choom made a strong impact in South Korea, where it reached No. 1. The project also launched the next phase of BABYMONSTER’s live career, with the group scheduled to support the release through their Choom World Tour across 2026 and 2027.

Now, the group appear ready to move into a new chapter. The sparse October teaser is notably different from the more detailed rollout surrounding Choom, offering no tracklist, concept information or confirmation of the format of the upcoming project.

One question hanging over the announcement is Rami’s involvement. BABYMONSTER have not confirmed whether she will participate in the October 23 release, leaving fans without an official indication of the lineup for the new era.
