BTS is teasing lyrics from their upcoming album ARIRANG in an unexpected place. With one week remaining before the March 20 release, the group quietly embedded lines from the new record inside the lyrics of songs from Proof on Apple Music, creating a digital scavenger hunt for fans.

The surprise arrived shortly after the official cover art for ARIRANG was unveiled online. BTS then alerted fans through social media, writing: “ARMY! We left some surprises for you in the Proof album lyrics on Apple Music. Can you find them?” Within minutes, listeners began combing through the platform’s lyric pages and spotting the hidden lines.

Several altered sections quickly surfaced. Among them are phrases believed to belong to ARIRANG tracks, including: “We’ll be singing, we’ll be singing till the morn, till the SUNRISE?” and “This a new HOME to me.” The brief glimpses offer the first lyrical hints from the album, which is set to become the group’s fifth Korean studio album and tenth overall project.

Anticipation for the record has been building since March 3, 2026, when BTS revealed the full 14-song tracklist. The album draws inspiration from the historic Korean folk song “Arirang,” exploring themes of identity, heritage, resilience, and connection after the members’ extended period of solo activity and military service.

ARIRANG marks the group’s first full-length release as a complete unit since Proof arrived in 2022. That return carries enormous significance for fans worldwide, particularly as BTS prepares a multi-layered comeback campaign that extends beyond the album itself.

The rollout includes a global livestream event titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, scheduled for March 21 at 8 p.m. KST and streamed globally on Netflix. The performance will take place at Seoul’s historic Gwanghwamun Square and will feature the first live renditions of songs from the album.

Additional projects are already lined up. The documentary BTS: THE RETURN arrives March 27, followed by the Arirang World Tour launching in April and running through March 2027.
