JISOO is closing out October with a new solo release. The BLACKPINK member has announced “ADDICTED,” a digital single arriving October 30, as she continues building momentum toward her upcoming debut solo studio album following September’s “CLICK.”
The song was announced on October 24 through her agency, BLISSOO, giving fans just six days to prepare for its release. “ADDICTED” will be available at 8 a.m. KST on Friday, October 30, with promotional artwork and a short motion teaser introducing a dramatic purple aesthetic. Stormy skies and a distinctive lightning-shaped heart dominate the visuals, establishing a mysterious atmosphere that contrasts with the colorful carnival imagery surrounding her previous single. JISOO also teased the release on Instagram with the caption “1030 Y ADDICTED!”, while her official YouTube profile and related channels adopted the new visual identity.

The announcement comes alongside another major addition to her solo brand: JISOO’s official light stick. Introduced with the playful slogan “HERE’S THE SCOOP” and the tagline “Made to shine, never to melt,” the design takes the form of an ice cream cone, featuring illuminated purple and white scoops. The product also includes a matching storage cup, wrist strap and other accessories designed for fans attending events. Purchases are scheduled to open through the JISOO app on October 26 KST, with separate links for Korean and international customers.
“ADDICTED” follows “CLICK,” released September 4 as the lead single from JISOO’s forthcoming first full-length solo album. The dance-pop track centers on synths, bass and a rhythmic hook built around the irresistible pull between two people who seem destined to connect, even when they know they should not. JISOO co-wrote the song with Nolan Lambroza, Simon Says, Caroline Ailin and Simon Wilcox.
Directed by Joseph Kahn, the “CLICK” music video placed JISOO in a deserted, overgrown amusement park populated by animatronic figures and mechanical carnival attractions. Playing the last sentient cyborg in this abandoned world, she navigates a setting that blends science fiction with dark fairy-tale imagery. A glowing-eyed teddy bear, nicknamed the “Click Bear,” became a recognizable visual element associated with the release.
Commercially, “CLICK” delivered particularly strong results across Asian markets. The single reached No. 3 on the worldwide iTunes chart and topped the rankings in nine regions, while entering the top 10 in 43 territories. In South Korea, its physical CD and NFC editions surpassed 100,000 copies on Circle Chart, and the single album peaked at No. 3. The music video has accumulated more than 54 million YouTube views, while the track secured JISOO her second solo music-show victory on M Countdown on September 17.
JISOO’s release schedule has also become more frequent. Following her March 2023 single album ME, she returned with the AMORTAGE EP and “Earthquake” on February 14, 2025, before releasing “Eyes Closed,” her collaboration with Zayn, in October of that year. “CLICK” arrived in September 2026, making “ADDICTED” her next solo release less than two months later.
