TAEMIN has postponed the North American leg of his 2026–27 LiMiNaL World Tour because of ongoing uncertainty surrounding U.S. visas for key touring and production personnel. The scheduled October shows will be moved to new dates, with the artist’s team promising further details once the rescheduling process is complete.
In an official statement, the tour organizers said a “significant number” of essential staff members are still awaiting their visas, leaving no clear timeline for when the necessary documentation will be issued. With those personnel unable to confirm their participation, the team determined that continuing with the North American shows as planned would create significant operational and production risks.

The North American leg remains part of the LiMiNaL World Tour, rather than being canceled outright. New dates and venues are currently being arranged, while fans who purchased tickets for the original shows will be able to request refunds through their original point of purchase.
The postponement comes just over a week after TAEMIN launched the world tour in Seoul. The first of three shows at Jamsil Indoor Stadium took place on September 18, with an opening-night performance lasting more than two hours and featuring roughly 28 songs.
The Seoul concerts, which continued through September 20, marked the first full live presentation of all 11 tracks from PHASE 1 : Soft Violence. Released August 31, the EP serves as the foundation for the new era, but its songs are woven into a career-spanning production featuring choreography-heavy performances, a piano section and atmospheric staging built around large fabric installations and wind.
The title LiMiNaL reflects TAEMIN’s concept for the new chapter. He has described the word as representing a threshold before something changes, framing the tour as a transition into a different phase of his artistic career. That idea carries through a setlist that connects his solo catalog with the new material.
Fan favorites including “MOVE,” “WANT,” “Advice,” “Guilty,” “IDEA” and “Press Your Number” appear alongside “Ace,” while “2 Kids” and “Sad Kids” are performed together. The new EP adds “FLOAT,” “Gooey” and the rest of Soft Violence to a show designed to place his latest music alongside established moments from his career.
The tour follows a year of major changes for TAEMIN. He left BPM Entertainment in February and signed with Galaxy Corporation in March, later releasing his first full-English single, “Long Way Home,” on March 27. In April, he became the first Korean male soloist to perform at Coachella, previewing six unreleased songs during his Mojave Stage set.
“Permission” arrived as a digital single in May before being included on Soft Violence, while “FLOAT” and “Gooey” became the EP’s double-title tracks and received performances on Korean music shows.
