Becky G is officially entering a new chapter. On June 25, the singer announced her fifth studio album, BARAJA BENDITA, revealing that the project will arrive on August 14 through RCA Records.
The announcement came alongside the release of new single “Patrona,” which joins previously released tracks “EPA” and “Marathon” on the 17-song record. Becky shared the news across social media with a personal message explaining the inspiration behind the project and the duality that has shaped both her public and private identity.
“BARAJA BENDITA. My 5th studio album – out 8.14,” she wrote. “I’ve spent years letting people meet Becky G first and let them figure out reBBeca later. this album stops explaining the difference, con las dos Bs – both showing up & telling their truths – BB embraces it all.”
She continued: “A lot of you have been here since the beginning, and I thank you for staying in the game with me for this long… BARAJA BENDITA is about choosing your own fate and owning your next move.”
The album arrives during a period of creative growth for the singer. BARAJA BENDITA follows 2024’s Encuentros, her fourth Spanish-language studio album, which was released on October 10, 2024, through Kemosabe Records, RCA Records, and Sony Music Latin. That project was supported by singles including “Como Diablos” and a tour that ran through November 2024.
Since then, Becky has become increasingly open about her personal journey. In late 2025, she released REBBECA, a documentary that screened in theaters from December 10 to 13. The film explored family, identity, healing, and the challenges she faced during one of the most transformative periods of her life and career.
