Chloe Bailey, known to fans simply as Chlöe, continues her solo journey with her sophomore album, Trouble In Paradise. This LP artfully blends her signature R&B sound with vibrant Afrobeats influences, creating a dynamic follow-up to her debut album, In Pieces, released just a year ago. The 26-year-old artist first hinted at the album’s title during her Coachella performance, sparking excitement among fans.
Chlöe describes Trouble In Paradise as a “coming-of-age celebration of being a woman and having fun, not taking life too seriously.” The album draws heavy inspiration from the culture of Saint Lucia, where she recorded much of the music. The 16-track album features collaborations with artists like Ty Dolla Sign, Anderson .Paak, YG Marley, Halle, and Jeremih. Several notable producers, including Fridayy and Anderson .Paak, contributed to the project, enhancing its rich, eclectic sound.
