Inhaler’s third studio album, Open Wide, marks a bold step forward for the Dublin-based band. The album sees the quartet—Eli Hewson, Robert Keating, Ryan McMahon, and Josh Jenkinson—refining their signature sound while embracing new influences, striking a balance between their indie rock roots and a more polished, mainstream appeal. Musically, the album blends the band’s love for T. Rex, early MGMT, Prince, and Depeche Mode with the indie and garage rock influences that shaped their youth. It serves as a powerful celebration of Inhaler’s identity and the journey that has brought them to this moment. To craft this new sound, Inhaler worked closely with Grammy- and BRIT-winning producer Kid Harpoon. The album was preceded by four singles: “Billy (Yeah Yeah Yeah),” “Your House,” “A Question of You,” and “Open Wide.” Now, the band is gearing up for their sold-out tour in support of Open Wide, which kicks off tonight at the Leeds O2 Academy and will visit several venues across the UK and Ireland.
