After two massive collaborative albums with Future in 2024, Metro Boomin has returned with a solo project that trades dystopian trap for something looser and more fun. A Futuristic Summa, released August 1, is a double-disc mixtape that pays tribute to the early 2000s Atlanta “futuristic” era—a scene defined by Myspace, bass-heavy production, colorful fashion, and swagger-filled party anthems.

The tape features 21 artists across 24 tracks, uniting hometown icons like Young Dro, Roscoe Dash, Travis Porter, and J Money, alongside heavyweights like Future, 21 Savage, 2 Chainz, and Waka Flocka Flame. Rising voices such as BunnaB, and YK Niece add new energy.

Metro described the project as the most fun he’s ever had making music—and it shows. Tracks bounce between raw club energy, fast-talking flexes, and carefree summer chaos. There’s no deep concept here, just hard beats, catchy hooks, and an unmistakable ATL pulse.

In this article, we rank all 24 tracks from A Futuristic Summa.
