2024 is officially behind us, but the music it gave us will continue to resonate well into 2025. Last year brought the return of megastars like Ariana Grande (Eternal Sunshine), Dua Lipa (Radical Optimism), Zayn (Room Under the Stairs), Billie Eilish (Hit Me Hard and Soft), and Beyoncé (Cowboy Carter). Taylor Swift delivered her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, featuring the smash hit “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, while Post Malone surprised fans with his country album, F-1 Trillion.
2024 also saw the meteoric rise of Sabrina Carpenter. With her global hits “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” she capped the year with her chart-topping album Short n’ Sweet. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar dropped a surprise album, GNX, and SZA expanded her critically acclaimed SOS with the deluxe edition LANA, giving fans even more to love.
Throughout the year, InMusic continued its tradition of celebrating standout songs by inviting fans to vote for their favorites each month. Tracks like Ariana Grande’s “Yes, And?”, Zayn’s “Alienated,” and Dua Lipa’s “These Walls” claimed the title of Song of the Month.
