It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!
The last New Music Friday of March brings us an impressive lineup of new releases, especially on the albums side. Ariana Grande leads the way with Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead, the deluxe edition of her seventh album. This expanded version includes six new tracks, including “Hampstead” and “Twilight Zone.” Along with the album release, Ariana Grande co-directed the short film Brighter Days Ahead with Christian Breslauer. The film continues the story of Peaches, a character first introduced in the music video for “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).”
Lil Durk is back with Deep Thoughts, his ninth studio album. After several delays and a rollout that began in September 2024, the LP finally drops this Friday. Deep Thoughts features 17 tracks and sees the rapper navigating through his personal struggles. Guest appearances include Future, Lil Baby, Jhené Aiko, and Hunxho.
New albums are also coming from Jessie Reyez (Paid in Memories), Will Smith (Based on a True Story), Lucy Dacus (Forever Is a Feeling), Nav (OMW2 Rexdale), and more.
