It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases! Leading the pack this week is none other than Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican superstar dropped his highly anticipated sixth studio album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, on January 5th. Several tracks from the album are already making waves on streaming platforms, including “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and “NUEVAYoL.” The project is a celebration of Puerto Rican culture, both thematically and musically, featuring elements of traditional genres like plena and salsa.
Also making waves this week is Ethel Cain, who unveiled her latest album, Perverts. This marks her first full-length project since her 2022 debut album, Preacher’s Daughter. The new LP takes a bold turn into experimental territory, leaning heavily on dark ambient sounds. The nine-track album is an ambitious effort, with several songs running over 10 minutes in length.
In addition, fans of the late Mac Miller have new music to look forward to as the first single from his upcoming posthumous album, Balloonerism, is now available. Titled “5 Dollar Pony Rides,” the track was released alongside the unveiling of the album’s full tracklist. Balloonerism, recorded over a decade ago, is set to drop on January 17th and will be the second posthumous album from the artist following 2020’s Circles.
