Kanye West’s Chicago homecoming turned into a two-night showcase of the artists, collaborators and hometown figures connected to his career. Across the sold-out September 3 and 4 shows at Soldier Field, Ye brought out 20 guest appearances spanning G.O.O.D. Music, Chicago rap, Young Thug’s circle and longtime collaborators.
Night 1 was more compact, but the guest list still reflected Ye’s deep Chicago ties and his decades-long network. Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Future and Twista joined him during the September 3 performance, which ran for more than two hours and moved between songs from The College Dropout, Graduation, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo, Donda and his 2026 album Bully.

The second night, held Friday, September 4, expanded dramatically. Kid Cudi provided the emotional high point of the show when he reunited with Ye for “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1,” “Ghost Town” and “Pursuit of Happiness,” marking their first public performance together since August 2024.
Travis Scott also appeared, performing “FE!N” and “FATHER,” while Don Toliver joined Ye for “OK” and “E85.” Young Thug made a surprise appearance during a “Low Lights” intro that transitioned into “Highlights” and “Lifestyle,” adding another major name to an already packed hometown bill.
Chicago legends were heavily represented throughout the night. Chief Keef performed “Love Sosa” and two versions of “I Don’t Like,” with the latter marking the song’s first live performance since 2016. Rick Ross delivered “Devil in a New Dress” in its tour debut before performing “B.M.F.”
André Troutman was also part of the second-night performance, joining Travis Scott and Ye during “FATHER.” The sheer number of guests made Night 2 substantially different from a conventional catalog show, with songs often restarted, performed in fragments or altered around the surprise appearances.
The two-night run also carried extra weight because Soldier Field hosted Ye’s 2021 Donda listening event, one of the defining spectacles of his later career. This time, the massive globe-inspired stage from the Bully tour provided the backdrop as Ye revisited songs from across his catalog while celebrating the city that shaped his early career.
