It’s time to update your playlist with fresh new music! The first Friday of April delights us with a lot of new music to listen to. Opening our weekly roundup is none other than Doja Cat with the deluxe edition of her latest studio album. Titled Scarlet 2: Claude, the album is named after Claude Frollo, the antagonist of the novel “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.” Doja revealed that the title serves as a metaphor “for the people that creatives endure on a daily basis in a bigger picture, a bigger scale.” This new deluxe edition of Scarlet will be supported by the release of “Masc” along with its music video.
Ava Max kicks off her new musical era with the single “My Oh My.” The song serves as the lead single from her upcoming third studio album, yet untitled and referred to as AM3. The singer shared her joy at the release of this single and can’t wait to give more to her fans, saying, “the third era begins now.”
Conan Gray drops his third studio album, Found Heaven, which was preceded by four singles: “Never Ending Song,” “Winner,” “Killing Me,” “Lonely Dancers,” and “Alley Rose.” The album features thirteen tracks and was co-produced by Max Martin. In support of the album, Conan will embark on the Found Heaven On Tour next summer.
Following the massive success of the worldwide hit “Beautiful Things,” Benson Boone unleashes his debut album, Fireworks & Rollerblades. The LP also features his breakout single “Ghost Town,” which was released in 2021 and has achieved Gold certification in the US.
