Kanye West (Ye) brought his Bully era to Houston on Halloween night, October 31, with a stadium show featuring surprise appearances from Playboi Carti and his daughter North West. The concert at NRG Stadium combined new material, career-spanning hits and a Halloween-themed production, marking his first major performance in the city in seven years.
The show reportedly attracted around 80,000 attendees, according to some tallies, potentially setting a new record for a U.S. stadium rap concert. Other reports placed the attendance above 60,000, making it one of the largest stops of Ye’s ongoing stadium run regardless of the final figure. His previous Houston appearances took place in 2019, when he brought Sunday Service to Lakewood Church and performed for inmates at the Harris County Jail.

As with other dates on the tour, the production revolved around a massive spherical stage featuring visual representations of Earth and the moon. The elaborate setup provided the backdrop for a setlist spanning different stages of Ye’s career, from early records to songs from his 2026 album Bully.
Playboi Carti was among the night’s biggest surprises. The rapper joined Ye for several tracks, including “Carnival,” “Sky,” “Timeless,” “EVIL J0RDAN” and “FE!N,” bringing material from their respective catalogs to the Houston crowd. North West also made an appearance, stepping onto the stage wearing horror-inspired face paint for performances of “Legacy” and “Talking.”
Beyond the guest appearances, Ye revisited some of the biggest records from his catalog, including “Stronger,” “N—s in Paris” and “All Falls Down.” Newer material from Bully, including “King” and “Father,” also featured in the performance. The set included deeper cuts and a shout-out to Houston producer Mike Dean, acknowledging the city’s contribution to his musical history.
The Houston date is part of the Ye Live Concert Tour, his first major headlining stadium run in a decade, following the Saint Pablo Tour in 2016. Launched in April with two nights at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the tour has since visited several U.S. cities and international markets. Its opening shows reportedly generated more than $32 million combined, with approximately 149,000 tickets sold across the two nights.
Houston was one of three additional U.S. dates announced in September, alongside a November 7 concert at AT&T Stadium in Arlington and a November 21 show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
