The 2025 The Fact Music Awards (TMA) lit up Macau on September 20, bringing together nearly 50 K-pop acts for one of the year’s most anticipated events. Held at the Macao Outdoor Performance Venue—a 50,000-seat arena—the ceremony marked the second consecutive overseas edition of the awards show and the first-ever major Korean music event at this venue.

Hosted once again by Jun Hyun-moo and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, with broadcaster Yoo Jae-pil leading the red carpet, the night celebrated both chart success and fan-powered achievements. Winners were determined through a mix of Circle Chart data, expert judging, and global fan voting, making the TMAs a unique balance of numbers and community support.

This year’s lineup delivered unforgettable moments, with headline performances from Stray Kids, aespa, IVE, NMIXX, BOYNEXTDOOR, NCT WISH, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, and more.

Stray Kids were among the biggest victors, taking home Honor of the Year, Record of the Year, and the fan-voted TMA Popularity Award. IVE claimed Sound of the Year and were included in the coveted Artist of the Year lineup, while aespa walked away with multiple honors, including Artist of the Year, Muse of the Year, and a Special Jury Award.

Legacy stars from BTS were also honored: Jin earned Best Music (Summer) and Fan N Star Choice Solo, j-hope won Best Music (Spring), and V was awarded Best Music (Winter).
