This year’s ceremony arrives amid heightened competition, as Aespa and Jennie lead the nominations with nine each. Aespa’s nominations include major categories like Album of the Year for Whiplash and Song of the Year, while Jennie dominates the solo categories with three nominations in Song of the Year alone—thanks to her chart-topping hits “Like JENNIE,” “Zen,” and “ExtraL.” Other BLACKPINK members—ROSÉ and JISOO—also earned multiple nominations.
Meanwhile, members of BTS—Jin, J-Hope, and V—are also nominated for their solo releases, solidifying BTS’s enduring influence even as the members pursue individual careers.
