Bad Bunny brought a career-defining moment to Asia on March 7, delivering a high-energy performance for Spotify’s exclusive Billions Club Live concert in Tokyo. The one-night-only event celebrated the Puerto Rican artist’s massive streaming impact and marked his first-ever live performance in the region.
Held as part of the Billions Club Live series from Spotify, the concert gathered some of the artist’s most dedicated listeners in Japan for an intimate yet explosive show.
Bad Bunny is among the artists with the most songs surpassing one billion streams, with a catalog that includes dozens of billion-stream tracks. The concert’s setlist moved fluidly across eras of his career, from massive collaborations like “Mia” and “No Me Conoce” to tracks from his most recent album Debí Tirar Más Fotos. He also surprised fans by bringing out Jowell & Randy to perform “Safaera.”
The atmosphere inside the venue carried the energy of a major arena show despite its exclusive format. Among those spotted in the audience was Lisa of BLACKPINK, who was captured in several videos enjoying the performance.
The Tokyo concert arrives during a remarkable stretch for Bad Bunny. In 2025, he was once again named Spotify’s Global Top Artist, marking the fourth time he has earned the distinction. Momentum surged again earlier this year when the artist delivered a headline-grabbing performance at the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. According to Roc Nation, the performance reached more than 4.1 billion viewers across global broadcasts and digital platforms within its first 24 hours, setting a new record for a halftime show audience. In addition, he scored a historic Album of the Year win at the Grammy Awards.
