An intriguing Instagram post from Bebe Rexha has sparked speculation about a highly anticipated collaboration with BLACKPINK. The pop sensation shared a series of images from the studio, using the song “Jump” as background audio. One of the photos shows her holding a whiteboard that reads “Write a great song” next to a heart—seemingly hinting at fresh new music. Adding to the excitement was the caption: “Bebe in your area,” a clear reference to BLACKPINK’s iconic phrase, “BLACKPINK in your area.”

This tease aligns with a May 2023 rumor involving a KOMCA (Korean Music Copyright Association) registration listing a track titled “Fit For This,” officially crediting a collaboration between Bebe Rexha and BLACKPINK.

Bebe’s connection to K-pop goes beyond rumors. Most notably, her 2022 remix of “Break My Heart Myself” featured ITZY members Yeji and Ryujin. That version became an international hit—on Spotify alone, the remix has surpassed 30 million streams. Bebe’s first link to the K-pop scene dates back to 2010, when she was credited as a writer on SHINee’s “Lucifer,” a moment she recently acknowledged: “My first songwriting credit was this song, and at the time K-pop music wasn’t as popular internationally as it is now. I think I wrote this when I was 17 or 18. It came out a while after I wrote it.”

Interestingly, she also nearly crossed paths with BLACKPINK in 2021. At the time, Bebe released her sophomore album Better Mistakes, and a track titled “Tally” was originally intended for that album—before ultimately landing on BLACKPINK’s Born Pink.
