The anniversary campaign also brings new attention to “Morning Dew (DONK),” which has become part of the B’DAY story nearly two decades after the album’s original release. Beyoncé officially released the song on July 4, 2026, after the track had circulated among fans for years following the leak of an unfinished demo.
The single later received a four-track remix package on August 5, including a new version featuring Jay-Z credited as JAŸ-Z. “Morning Dew (DONK)” debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100, while reaching No. 7 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and No. 3 on Hot R&B Songs.
Originally released on September 4, 2006, B’DAY became Beyoncé’s second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 after selling 541,196 copies in its first week in the United States. Its anniversary now arrives on September 4, 2026, exactly 20 years after the original album’s release.
