Bruno Mars has reached a new career milestone. His latest single “I Just Might” has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the superstar’s tenth chart-topping hit and his first song to debut directly at the summit.
Released on January 9, 2026, “I Just Might” serves as the lead single from Mars’ upcoming fourth solo studio album, The Romantic, due out February 27. The track arrived with immediate impact across all major metrics, entering the Hot 100 at No. 1 on the January 24 chart, driven by a strong balance of streaming, digital sales, and early radio traction.
Beyond the main chart, the song delivered commanding performances elsewhere. As reported by Billboard, “I Just Might” also debuted at No. 1 on Streaming Songs, becoming Mars’ fourth leader on that chart, while topping Digital Song Sales for the twelfth time in his career.
In its first four days, the track generated nearly 14 million U.S. streams, while also opening at No. 1 on Spotify’s U.S. chart and posting strong numbers globally, peaking at No. 3 on the Daily Global Spotify chart. The momentum extended beyond the single itself, boosting Mars’ entire catalog, with several hits filling the Spotify charts.
Notably, “I Just Might” represents Mars’ first solo single in nearly a decade, following an era defined by Silk Sonic and high-profile collaborations such as “Leave the Door Open” and “Die With a Smile.” With this debut, Mars adds another chapter to a Hot 100 legacy that includes “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “Uptown Funk!,” and “That’s What I Like.”
