After nearly a decade between solo albums, Bruno Mars has officially returned.
The Romantic is out now via Atlantic Records, marking Mars’ fourth solo studio album and his first since 2016’s 24K Magic. The release ends years of speculation and measured anticipation, delivering a concise nine-track project rooted in classic R&B, vintage soul, and dancefloor warmth.
The album’s lead single “I Just Might” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track held the top position for two consecutive weeks. Across The Romantic, he leans into what he does best. The songwriting centers on devotion and admiration. The grooves are clean, radio-ready, and built for movement without losing intimacy.
The album also arrives in a different phase of Mars’ career. Since his last solo effort, he has toured extensively and released the Grammy-winning collaborative project An Evening with Silk Sonic alongside Anderson .Paak. That era sharpened his vintage influences.
Promotion will continue on the road. The Romantic Tour, a 71-date stadium run, launches April 10 in Las Vegas and concludes October 14 in Vancouver.
The Romantic is streaming worldwide. Listen now.
