BTS continue their record-breaking streak as ARIRANG secures a second consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 187,000 album-equivalent units. The milestone marks the longest-running No. 1 album of the group’s career and sets a new benchmark for K-pop on the chart.
Following its explosive debut of 641,000 units— the biggest U.S. week ever for a K-pop release—ARIRANG now becomes the first album from the genre to spend its first two weeks atop the Billboard 200. That consistency signals sustained demand beyond opening-week fan mobilization, with streaming, sales, and track consumption all contributing to its hold at the summit.
Competition remains strong across the top tier. Kanye West enters at No. 2 with BULLY, opening with 152,000 units, including 56,000 in pure sales. The debut gives West his 14th top 10 album on the chart, with every entry reaching the top two positions. It also marks his first solo album appearance since Donda, which debuted at No. 1 in 2021, and follows the 2024 collaborative release Vultures 2 with Ty Dolla $ign, which peaked at No. 2.
Just behind, Melanie Martinez lands at No. 3 with HADES, earning 84,000 units in its opening week. The project becomes her fourth top 10 entry and ties K-12 as her second-highest-charting album, trailing only PORTALS, which peaked at No. 2 in 2023.
For BTS, the chart performance reflects a broader global dominance that extends beyond U.S. metrics. The album has already delivered one of the largest streaming debuts in Spotify history, surpassing 1 billion streams within 16 days of release.
