The Third Round of Explosive Posts

The latest clash reignited early on October 1, when Nicki Minaj took aim at Cardi B with a shocking post: “Dear Kulture VULTURE, Your mom is pregnant with another monkey to add to her litter. The gag is that she was jealous of a little baby boy simply because his hair was longer than all 4 of you bald monkeys put together.”

She followed it up with more inflammatory remarks, mocking Cardi’s personal life. Cardi quickly fired back, accusing Nicki of harboring jealousy toward her children and alleging deep-seated resentment. “Here you go starting again nice and early you sick pathetic loser ass demonic insane bitch… you BEEN jealous of my child… you’re jealous of my kids because they beautiful and fuckin smart and that’s why god punished you with having a slow ass kid.”

The exchanges escalated, with Cardi threatening face-to-face confrontation: “Didn’t you say you was in NY??? This past words now… WHERE TF YOU AT??? Cuz today gonna be the day I go to jail.”

In a lengthy message, Cardi declared it would be her final response online, accusing Nicki of unresolved childhood trauma, drug use, and toxic relationships, while insisting she would only address her in person moving forward.

“Dear Onika Tanya Maraj, This my last time responding to you because this past Twitter now.. I gotta see you… but first ima tell you truth.. You said out your own mouth that the lil girl in you haven’t forgave your mother yet and that’s because your mom used to stay silent when your dad used to touch on you everytime he did that crack pipe… I know you experienced a lot of trauma and abuse but drugs is not gonna help you.. you need to go to therapy NOW… ima let you know this today.. your husband is not stoppin you from your actions because he lets you do drugs all day to numb you so he can max out your credit card… yea you think I don’t know?? Them queens nikkas that you be letting in your house everytime you kick them out be coming and spilling your tea in the hood.. but I’m gonna be the realest person to ever tell you.. YOU NEED TO GET HELP!! Nicki, however, continued posting. She mocked Cardi’s new album Am I The Drama? for failing to deliver high streaming numbers, then pivoted to cryptic religious statements and sharp attacks on industry peers. In a string of posts, she called herself a prophet, claimed divine protection for her family, and took jabs at Quavo, Offset, and even Billie Eilish.

Cardi responded once more, accusing Nicki of drug use and mental health struggles, before Nicki seemingly closed the chapter with a softer tone, telling her fans:

“Ok Barbz. Peace & love. I’ll pray for you my darlings. You’ve been such a light in my life. God bless you… Aaand scene.”

Previous Escalation: October 1

This marked the third round of drama in just two days. Hours earlier, Cardi and Nicki exchanged another string of harsh accusations.

Nicki had posted a long rant, taunting Cardi about seizures and mocking her as “Barney B.” Cardi fired back by criticizing Nicki for posting on her son’s birthday instead of spending time with him, while denying any health-related claims. From there, the feud spiraled: Nicki mocked Cardi’s album sales, called her “Cokey B,” and insulted her children, while Cardi accused Nicki of ducking face-to-face confrontation and targeting her daughters.

At one point, Nicki labeled Cardi’s daughters “roaches” and “monkeys,” while Cardi retaliated by attacking Nicki’s son, marking one of the feud’s darkest turns yet.

The fight extended to career digs too. Nicki boasted about Pink Friday 2’s debut, while Cardi reminded fans that Am I The Drama? gave her two back-to-back No. 1 debuts, a historic milestone for a female rapper. Cardi also accused Nicki of underselling albums through bundles and claimed she was “ungrateful.”

The September 30 Spark

This explosive chapter followed another flare-up on September 30. It began when Nicki posted a cryptic jab about “reindeer games.” Cardi fired back, mocking her career and telling her to “kiss my feet.” Nicki escalated by mocking Cardi’s pregnancies, while Cardi retaliated by bringing up rumors about Nicki’s fertility struggles.

That argument broke out just days after Cardi celebrated her Am I The Drama? debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 200,000 units, making her the first female rapper in history to see both of her first two albums enter at No. 1. Nicki reminded fans that Pink Friday 2 still holds the biggest female rap debut of the decade and teased her own upcoming album, NM6, due March 2026.

After three consecutive rounds of hostile posts, the feud appears to be on pause. Nicki’s final words—“Aaand scene”—suggest she may be ready to step back, while Cardi has stated she will no longer waste her career or endorsements trading insults online.
