Cardi B is looking back on her decade-long career with a mix of humor and hindsight, offering a candid piece of advice to her younger self during a March 24 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Reflecting on her early years in the spotlight, the rapper pointed directly to her history of online clashes as something she would now approach differently.
When Jimmy Fallon asked what guidance she would give her past self, Cardi didn’t hesitate. “Like, I would tell myself, Why are you arguing with people on Twitter? Why are you doing that, girl?” she said, before adding, “I don’t know [why], but it was fun.”
That reflection carries added weight given her long history of high-profile social media disputes, particularly with Nicki Minaj. Their latest escalation in October 2025 unfolded across X in a series of increasingly personal and explicit posts, reigniting a feud that has spanned much of Cardi’s mainstream career. The back-and-forth included direct insults, accusations, and threats of confrontation, dominating online discourse for days before both artists appeared to step back.
Her current era reflects a more controlled balance. The Little Miss Drama Tour, launched in February 2026, is entering its final stretch, with back-to-back shows at Madison Square Garden this week before concluding on April 18 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The run follows the release of her second studio album Am I the Drama?, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Recently, Cardi revealed that she plans to bring the tour to Europe while keeping an eye on new music in the near future.
