Cardi B has weighed in on the disappointing first-week sales of BIA’s debut studio album BIANCA. During a X Spaces live session on Wednesday (Oct. 22), the Bronx-born rapper addressed several of her current rivals, including Nicki Minaj, JT from City Girls, and BIA — whose album underperformed commercially despite weeks of hype surrounding their ongoing feud.
“I just found out BIA’s numbers yesterday,” Cardi said during the session. “I’m not going to pick on her because of that sh*t. That’s overkill.”
According to industry reports, BIANCA sold fewer than 3,000 equivalent album units in its first week, missing a debut on the Billboard 200 chart. The outcome came as a surprise to many, considering BIA’s recent surge in online attention and her rising profile in the rap scene.

Cardi’s comments arrive just days after she defended her own album’s performance. Her latest release, Am I The Drama?, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 200,000 equivalent album units — the biggest opening week of 2025 for a female hip-hop artist. In a recent interview with PAPER magazine, Cardi spoke about how numbers don’t define impact: “People will try to discourage you about your numbers, but clearly, they don’t discourage me.”
In her X Spaces session, Cardi also took direct aim at JT of City Girls, referencing the diss tracks “No Hook” and “Keep Coming.” The Grammy winner didn’t hold back: “You don’t rap better than me, you’re not prettier than me, you’re not better than me at all. I’ll let you think you’re better than me. I’m not afraid of you.”
