Demi Lovato has canceled several dates on her upcoming It’s Not That Deep Tour, citing the need to protect her health and adjust the tour schedule ahead of its April launch. The affected shows include Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Denver, with the Charlotte stop originally slated to serve as the tour’s opening night.

The Grammy-nominated singer shared the news directly with fans via Instagram Stories, addressing her decision with an apologetic message. “My Lovatics, I am so excited to get back on stage this year and visit you in as many cities as I can,” Lovato wrote. “While starting to prepare for the tour, I realized that I have overextended what may be possible. To protect my health, and ensure I can give you my all at each show, I need to build in more time to rest and rehearse and ultimately adjust to a schedule with some more time off that will allow me to handle the entire run of the tour.

Lovato continued by naming the canceled cities directly, adding, “Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Denver, I am so sad to say that I will no longer be able to see you on this tour and I am so sorry to those who planned to be there.” As part of the revised routing, the tour will now officially begin in Orlando, Florida, with that show moved to April 13. “Orlando, we are moving your show to April 13th and will kick off there,” she confirmed.

Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster or AXS will receive automatic refunds, according to Lovato, while those who bought through third-party resellers have been advised to contact their point of purchase. Previously issued tickets for the Orlando date will remain valid. “I am so excited for this tour and am looking forward to seeing so many of your faces singing with me,” she added. “Thank you for your support always. I love you and I cannot wait to see you soon.

The It’s Not That Deep Tour follows the release of Lovato’s new album It’s Not That Deep, which arrived in late 2025 via Island Records. The 11-track project marks a return to her pop roots after the rock-driven Holy Fvck and the reimagined hits collection Revamped. The new era leans into bright, confident pop, echoing the spirit of earlier singles like “Cool for the Summer” and “Heart Attack,” while introducing fresh fan favorites such as “Fast,” “Here All Night,” and “Kiss.”

The tour announcement came shortly after a sold-out album release show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium, where Lovato performed a 16-song set spanning her career. The night included the live return of “This Is Me” for the first time in nearly a decade, as well as “Really Don’t Care,” absent from her setlists since 2018. Rising pop artist ADÉLA is set to join the tour as a special guest on all remaining dates.
