Demi Lovato has teased unreleased music ahead of her upcoming It’s Not That Deep Tour, revealing during a new appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that fans could hear new songs live when the tour begins April 13. The singer confirmed she has been back in the studio and hinted that fresh material may debut directly onstage.

Speaking with Jimmy Fallon, Lovato outlined what audiences can expect from the tour’s revamped launch. “A lot of dancing and a lot of singing,” she said, before adding a more intriguing tease: “Songs that you already know, but also songs that might be… new.” The audience reacted instantly, with Fallon pressing further on whether those tracks were currently in development.

Lovato didn’t hesitate. “I’ve been in the studio,” she confirmed, suggesting that the creative process has continued even as tour rehearsals intensified.

Her Fallon appearance also included a live performance of “Ghost,” a standout track from her 2025 album It’s Not That Deep. The project marked a stylistic pivot back toward polished pop after the rock-leaning Holy Fvck era, blending high-energy production with more reflective songwriting.

The It’s Not That Deep Tour has already undergone significant adjustments. Earlier this year, Lovato canceled five planned stops — including Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Denver — citing the need to protect her health and allow more time for rest and rehearsals. As a result, the tour will now officially open in Orlando on April 13.
