Doja Cat has reached a historic new milestone in streaming history. With “I Like You (A Happier Song),” her 2022 collaboration with Post Malone, surpassing one billion streams on Spotify, the Los Angeles rapper becomes the first female rapper ever to achieve nine songs with over one billion streams each on the platform. The achievement further extends her record as the most successful female rapper on Spotify. For comparison, Nicki Minaj has seven songs that have surpassed one billion streams.

With this latest milestone, Doja Cat now boasts nine billion-streamed songs on Spotify: “Say So,” “Woman,” “Streets,” “Need to Know,” “You Right,” “Boss B*tch,” “Paint The Town Red,” “Kiss Me,” and “I Like You (A Happier Song).” The list spans multiple eras of her career, from early viral breakthroughs to recent chart-topping releases.

The news arrives amid growing excitement around her latest album, Vie. Doja recently sparked speculation by posting the word “deluxe” on X, igniting fan theories about an expanded edition of the project. While no official announcement has followed, interest continues to build as she remains on the road for the Ma Vie World Tour, which runs through December 2026.

Released in 2025, Vie debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and marked a return to polished dance-pop following the darker experimentation of Scarlet.
