Female artists often dominate the music charts, especially in recent years. Adele, Miley Cyrus, Shakira, and Ariana Grande all made comebacks in the 2020s, amassing significant streams on Spotify as fans eagerly awaited their new music. However, Mariah Carey‘s Christmas classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” remains the most-streamed song in a single day, updating its own record last December 24 (23.7M). Taylor Swift, the most-streamed artist of 2023, secured multiple songs at the top of music charts, including the Daily Spotify chart.

As a result, the song earned her the biggest Spotify debut of her career, accumulating more than 11 million streams. However, she didn’t score the biggest first-day stream for a female song.
