Harry Styles is taking direct action against ticket scalping. In a coordinated move with Ticketmaster, thousands of tickets tied to his Madison Square Garden residency have been reclaimed from resellers and will now be redistributed to fans at face value.
The announcement, shared April 22, outlines a targeted crackdown on scalpers who used multiple accounts and fake identities to bypass purchase limits during the initial sale. According to Ticketmaster’s Global President Saumil Mehta, the company identified and canceled these tickets before they were transferred to buyers, ensuring that legitimate fans were not affected. None of the invalidated tickets had entered the secondary market through official transfers, a key distinction that protects existing ticket holders.
Pricing transparency sits at the center of the re-release. Data provided by Ticketmaster confirms that 19% of the reclaimed tickets are priced at $50, 77% fall under $95, and all remain below $130, including fees. That structure contrasts sharply with the inflated resale listings and dynamic pricing spikes that defined the tour’s initial rollout earlier this year.
Fans can request access through a dedicated window opening April 30 at 12 PM EDT and closing May 1 at 5 PM EDT. Submissions will not be processed on a first-come basis, though priority will be given to those who do not already hold tickets for the New York shows. Availability remains limited, and submitting a request does not guarantee entry.
The intervention follows months of backlash tied to the Together, Together Tour. When presales launched on January 26, demand overwhelmed the system, with queues surpassing 200,000 users in multiple cities. While entry-level tickets were advertised at $50, many fans reported encountering prices between $300 and $700 during checkout, with VIP packages exceeding $1,100. Screenshots circulated widely, showing upper-level seats jumping from $100 to $400 within minutes due to dynamic pricing.
Criticism extended beyond cost. The tour’s residency model—anchored by a multi-show run at Madison Square Garden—limited geographic access, forcing many fans to consider travel expenses on top of already elevated ticket prices.
The Together, Together Tour supports Styles’ fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., released March 6, 2026. The project debuted with 430,000 album-equivalent units in the United States and opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
