Kanye West (aks Ye) has reportedly set a new Soldier Field record with his two-night Chicago homecoming. According to Pollstar, the rapper sold 129,562 tickets across the sold-out September 3 and 4 concerts, generating a combined $29.8 million gross.
The second night delivered the biggest number of the run, bringing in $15.76 million and setting the highest single-night gross in Soldier Field history. The result adds a major commercial milestone to a hometown return that already carried significant personal and historical weight for Ye.

Ye opened the two-night engagement on Thursday, September 3, with a set running more than two hours and drawing heavily from his extensive catalog. The performance moved between material from The College Dropout, Graduation, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo and Donda, alongside songs from his 2026 album Bully and ¥$ collaborations.
The Chicago connection was central throughout the first show. Raised on the city’s South Side after being born in Atlanta, Kanye West returned to a venue that already has an important place in his career. Soldier Field hosted his Donda listening event in 2021, where he performed inside a replica of his childhood home.
Night 1 also featured surprise appearances from Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Future and Twista. Ye opened the show wearing a newly debuted smooth gray full-face mask with glowing eyes before performing “Homecoming” five times, a fitting choice for a hometown crowd given the song’s celebration of Chicago.
A massive half-globe stage, which has become a defining part of the Bully tour production, dominated the stadium.
The second night on Friday, September 4, expanded the scale of the homecoming with a much larger guest lineup. Around 20 artists and collaborators appeared across the two concerts, connecting Ye’s Chicago roots with different eras and circles of his career.
Kid Cudi provided one of the most significant moments of the second show when he reunited with Ye onstage for “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1,” “Ghost Town” and “Pursuit of Happiness.” The appearance marked their first public performance together since August 2024 and added another layer to a relationship that has played a major role in Ye’s musical history.
