Today (Jan. 26), Megan Thee Stallion released the new single “Hiss.” In the song, the rapper sings about her success and shades her critics. However, “Hiss” is quickly getting a lot of attention as a feud with Nicki Minaj is blowing up. With the lyric “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law,” Megan seemingly appears to shade Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender. In fact, Megan’s Law is a federal law that requires sex offenders to register with the state.

Shortly after the song release, Nicki Minaj went live on her Instagram account and previewed a song in response to the diss, where she mocks Megan’s height and rap ability, “She like 6 foot, I call her big foot.” She also liked several posts from her fans supporting her, including ‘They use her for a feature, after they get what they want they start hating….’ In fact, the two rappers collaborated back in 2019 on the hit single “Hot Girl Summer,” but those days seem to be very far.

On the other hand, Megan reacted without saying any word but just shared an Instagram story of herself laughing.

The feud keeps on escalating with Nicki’s latest comments on the platform Stationhead. Again, the “FTCU” singer pointed her attention to Megan’s rap ability, “you are still learning how to rap, and that’s an issue,” and also commented on the previous feud with DaBaby and Tory Lanez, “You let everyone be thrown under the bus. You let DaBaby be thrown under the bus, Tory, your best friend, your mom… You better go conjure up your mother and apologize. That’s disgusting.”
