Some of summer’s biggest anthems—such as Ed Sheeran’s “Sapphire,” Don Toliver and Doja Cat’s “Lose My Mind,” and Disco Lines and Tinashe’s “No Broke Boys”—were eliminated. On the other hand, Sabrina Carpenter advances with two tracks from her new album Man’s Best Friend: “Manchild” and “Tears.” In Round 2, “Manchild,” which was voted Song of the Month in June, faces Doja Cat’s “Jealous Type,” a track that nearly won in August.
KATSEYE also moves forward with two viral hits. On the left side of the bracket, “Gnarly” will go head-to-head with “Tears,” while on the right side it’s “Gabriela” versus Justin Bieber’s “Daisies.” Tate McRae’s “Just Keep Watching” faces Benson Boone’s infectious “Mr. Electric Blue,” while Chappell Roan (“The Subway”) and Addison Rae (“Fame Is a Gun”) complete the left side. On the right side, matchups include BLACKPINK’s “Jump” vs. Cardi B’s “Imaginary Playerz,” ROSÉ’s “Messy” vs. “Golden,” and Tyla’s “Is It” vs. Mariah Carey’s “Type Dangerous.”
Now it’s up to fans to decide. See the full bracket below and cast your votes in Round 2 exclusively on InMusic’s Instagram Stories.
