Monsta X have secured a decisive fan-voted victory as Unfold tops InMusic’s latest “Best New Release of the Week” poll. The group’s new album earned 78% of the vote on X, outperforming a competitive lineup of new releases across pop, hip-hop, and R&B.
The April 3 poll reflects strong engagement around one of the group’s most personal projects to date. Unfold marks Monsta X’s third full-length English-language album, extending their record as the first K-pop act to reach that milestone. Released following their 10th anniversary and the completion of members’ military service, the 10-track project pivots toward introspection, trading high-gloss production for a more vulnerable and emotionally layered sound.

Lead single “heal” anchors the album’s direction, blending midtempo soul and gospel influences with restrained production. Across tracks like “growing pains,” “baby blue,” and “sorry to myself,” the group explores themes of growth, healing, and identity, signaling a shift from the polished, radio-forward approach of their earlier English releases.
Trailing behind in the poll, Bebe Rexha’s “Hysteria” captured 19% of the vote. The single serves as the fourth preview of her upcoming visual album Dirty Blonde, set for release on June 12. Built for the dancefloor, the track leans into high-energy pop while continuing the independent-era rollout that began with “New Religion.”
Further down, Ye’s BULLY placed third with 2%, despite its strong commercial debut and ongoing chart presence. The album, released March 28, arrived after a prolonged development cycle and features a wide range of collaborators, blending soul samples with experimental production.
