The singer recently dropped her new solo single, “FUFN (F*CK YOU FOR NOW),” which has been receiving high praise from fans and has already topped the UK iTunes Songs Chart. In addition to her upcoming releases, Jade shared that she will be paying homage to her time in Little Mix during her set. She plans to perform a medley of the group’s biggest hits, calling them “bangers” that she wants to celebrate with the crowd. Little Mix achieved massive success throughout their career. After winning The X Factor, they signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Music and released their debut album, “DNA,” in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries, including the UK and US. Over the next decade, the group released six studio albums, scoring five No. 1 singles and nineteen top-ten hits on the UK Singles Chart. Following Jesy Nelson’s departure and the release of their sixth album, “Confetti,” Little Mix went on an indefinite hiatus.
For Jade, performing at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend marks a major milestone in her solo career. Last year, she released her debut single, “Angel of My Dreams,” and has since gone on to become a BRIT Award-winner. The event, set to take place in Sefton Park, Liverpool, is already generating excitement—especially with the promise of new music and a nostalgic nod to her Little Mix days.
