JENNIE has made Billboard Hot 100 history, becoming the first K-pop artist ever to have a song spend 20 weeks in the chart’s Top 10. The milestone marks another major achievement for the BLACKPINK star, whose collaboration with Tame Impala on “Dracula” has grown into one of the biggest crossover hits of her solo career.
The record-breaking run comes after JENNIE joined Kevin Parker for a remix of Tame Impala’s track, released on February 6, 2026. While the original song had already exceeded expectations, the updated version brought a new dimension to the record, pairing Parker’s psychedelic production with JENNIE’s layered vocals, additional songwriting and a newly recorded rap verse.

Parker recently discussed the collaboration in an interview with Variety, explaining that he had imagined a female voice on the song from the beginning. “This song came out and it did unbelievably better than I ever dreamt it was going to, the charts and everything which was a first for me, I was stoked,” he said. “But for me, I was always like thinking about the fact that I always thought it needed a female singer.”
The producer also saw JENNIE’s K-pop background as a way to bring a different personality to the track. He wanted her contribution to introduce “this spirit, that sort of playfulness,” rather than simply add another vocalist to an established hit.
Commercially, the collaboration took off months after the track’s initial release, as a viral TikTok trend helped propel “Dracula” up the charts. The remix eventually reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving both Tame Impala and JENNIE their first Top 10 entries on the chart. JENNIE also became the second BLACKPINK member to reach the Hot 100’s Top 10 as a solo artist, following Rosé.
The song’s success has extended beyond streaming and chart performance. JENNIE debuted “Dracula” live at ComplexCon Hong Kong on March 22 before performing it at major festivals including Governors Ball, Roskilde, Open’er, Mad Cool and Lollapalooza. On July 29, she joined Tame Impala onstage in Boston during the Deadbeat Tour, bringing the two artists together for a live performance of their collaboration.
