The performance marked the live debut of one of 2026’s biggest crossover hits. Backed by Tame Impala’s signature blend of psychedelic guitars, shimmering synths, and immersive visuals, JENNIE seamlessly stepped into the remix that recently climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her highest-charting solo hit in the United States.
The achievement represented another career-defining milestone for the singer. Earlier this month, “Dracula (Remix)” became JENNIE’s first solo top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her only the second female K-pop solo artist to reach the chart’s top tier after fellow BLACKPINK member ROSÉ. The collaboration continued gaining momentum through viral TikTok clips, strong Spotify playlist support, and expanding international radio airplay, helping transform the remix into one of the year’s breakout crossover records.
Boston also served as an ideal setting for the surprise appearance. Tame Impala are currently in the middle of the expansive Deadbeat Tour, supporting their acclaimed 2025 album of the same name. Since launching in New York late last year, the arena trek has become known for its immersive production, psychedelic visuals, and Kevin Parker’s cinematic live arrangements. Following Boston, the North American leg continues through Charlotte before heading toward Australia for its final shows in October.

Just days after sharing the stage with Kevin Parker, she is set to make history at Lollapalooza Chicago 2026, where she will headline Grant Park on Saturday, August 1, at 9 p.m. Her performance will make her the first female K-pop solo artist ever to headline the festival, adding another landmark achievement to an already remarkable year.
